In landscaping, employees come and go – but not at Hursthouse. Our teams are full of veterans – experienced, dedicated craftspeople whose time at Hursthouse often spans two decades or more. It gives a second meaning to the phrase “landscaping for life.”
What does it do for a company to have that kind of long-term culture? How do you nourish that kind of culture at a small company?
It happens hour by hour, day by day – and year by year, through events like our annual team retreat. Every year we put down our shovels and pack up the drafting tools for a day to spend time as a work family. We create something together, we eat something together, and we always make sure to have a little fun. The video above captures that experience in Spring 2016.
